Staff Relations
ISAA provides information, advice and resources to member schools nationally on staff relations, employment and workplace relations matters.
Governance
ISAA seeks to support school boards in their roles and responsibilities in school governance. It is the school board who has the responsibility to set the school’s vision, mission, values and goals and it is the school management’s responsibility to decide how to achieve the goals, in a manner consistent with the set values.
Member Support & Advice
ISAA provides a wide range of support and advice to schools, and the wider community, through the advancement of Islamic education within Australia.
Policy & Advocacy
ISAA undertakes advocacy for members and provides a range of support services. These include advocacy, government and education body relations and providing feedback to state and federal government as well as education bodies on policies impacting on schools.
Professional Learning
Professional learning in an Islamic school is about enabling those within the school community to thrive. It is about intentionally training and equipping the next generation to be ready to participate in complex organisations with a clear vision of Islamic education.
School Improvement
School Improvement consists of purposeful, strategic activities undertaken to develop excellence, improve student learning outcomes and, ultimately, positively impact student outcomes
