Policy & Advocacy
CSA undertakes advocacy for members and provides a range of support services. These include advocacy, government and education body relations and providing feedback to state and federal government as well as education bodies on policies impacting on schools.
- ISAA is an effective national voice for Islamic schools. Our senior executive officers have particular expertise and experience in advocacy, policy and government relations. ISAA is a recognised stakeholder group with national and state governments.
- Regular engagement with elected representatives and policy makers
- Ensuring the voice of Islamic schools is heard
- Direct advocacy campaigns around issues of concern to Islamic schools
- Submissions to parliamentary inquiries on critical matters, including religious freedom and funding issues
- Being members on committees and forums with government and education bodies at state and federal level
